The Butterfly Effect (2004) Trailer Analysis

I have analysed the first 60 seconds of the trailer for The Butterfly Effect (2004). This is one of the most well known psychological thrillers around, so the research I have done for this trailer will contribute to the trailer I shall soon create in the same genre.

In the first 60 seconds alone, there are 54 cuts including the two initial captions. This means that there are 0.9 cuts per second. This makes the trailer fast paced, and therefore highly exciting for the audience.
